About Us Brahmachari Avinashji
"With an innate passion for Sanatana Dharma and barraged by a multitude of life's experiences, he was driven to seek true Hinduism which eventually brought him straight to the doorsteps of Chinmaya Mission, and more importantly at the feet of a guru: Swami Prakashananda.
Upon having left his business to study Vedanta and Sanskrit under Swami Prakashananda for the 2008-2009 Vedanta Course, Br.Avinash decided to make the transition from being self-employed to 'Self' employed.
He continues to serve at our Chinmaya Mission Trinidad Ashram, where he is heavily involved in the Chinmaya Vidyalaya Pre, Primary and High Schools, teaching Vedanta, Vedik Chanting and Sanskrit, in addition to conducting satsangs."
