A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him.
In all adversities there is always in its depth, a treasure of spiritual blessings secretly hidden.
`Moksha' is not `Freedom from Action' but, `Freedom in Action'.
To give love is true freedom; To demand love is pure slavery.
The success is not in the trophy won but in the race run
The secret of action is to get established in equanimity, renouncing all egocentric attachments, and forgetting to worry over our successes and failures.
Character is formed from the repeated choice of thoughts and action. Make the right choice - You shall have a firm and noble character.
There is no destiny beyond and above ourselves; we are ourselves the architects of our future.
Without devotion, knowledge is tasteless. Without knowledge, devotion is mere empty idol worship.
Bhakti is the attitude of the mind, and jnana is the attitude of the intellect, both flow towards the Lord.
Silently hear everyone. Accept what is good. Reject and forget what is not. This is intelligent living.
Prosperity is like wine, which goes to the head, and makes man forget his Creator.
Spirituality is neither the privilege of the poor nor the luxury of the rich. It is the choice of the wise man.

Pujya Swami Prakashananda

Born in California, Trinidad, after migrating to Canada for higher studies, a young seeker met Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda during Chinmaya Mission's jnana yajna at a university in Toronto. He eagerly approached Gurudev to join the Mission and, in 1991, traveled to Mumbai, India to study the scriptures before taking the vows of a brahmachari.

After spending six years in India studying Vedanta and Sanskrit, upon completion of his studies in 1994, Brahmachari Prem Chaitanya was assigned to give discourses at various Mission centers in India and Nepal.

Leaving aside his bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy from York University in Toronto, and his law degree from Benares Hindu University, Premji returned to Trinidad in 1997 to start Chinmaya Mission work. Therafter began his satsangs and yajnas in Trinidad, the Caribbean, the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda initiated Premji into sannyasa as Swami Prakashananda on Mahashivaratri, in 2005. CM Trinidad has grown in leaps and bounds, enhanced by Swamiji's devotion, tireless dynamism, humility, and selfless service.
