Mission Statement
"To provide to individuals, from any background, the wisdom of Vedanta and the practical means for spiritual growth and happiness, enabling them to become positive contributors to society"
To support our mission, the Trinidad & Tobago centre offers year round activities, including courses in Vedanta, yagnas or spiritual discourses on sacred texts, devotional and meditation practices, aimed at making the teachings of Vedanta accessible to individuals of any background.
The Chinmaya Ashram's facilities include a mandir and lecture hall, a high school, the Chinmaya Vidyalaya and a residential hostel to accommodate students and guests.
Members of the Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK), the youth wing of the Mission, are actively involved in all Mission activites. All CHYK members organize and participate in study groups, charitable and social events, spiritual camps, yagnas, and cultural programs.
